Summary: Did you know that your brain has a little timekeeper within it called the Dorsolateral prefrontal cortex? When a trauma is encoded, this little part of our brain pushes pause at the moment of the encoding leaving the brain in a state of permanent vigilance to stimuli that represents the trauma. This is core reason why the past feels like it’s happening in the present moment.

The foundational Havening protocols of Event Havening, Transpirational Havening, Iffirmational Havening, etc. as well as our newer Creating Possibilities, Future Performance, and Reparenting Protocols all provide powerful opportunities for healing the past. Outcome Havening empowers them even further to intentionally engage different brain areas impacted by living with traumatic encodings.

This workshop will invite you into new opportunities in harnessing the power of neuroplasticity with Outcome Havening through expanding awareness of how and when to use the different Outcome Havening Protocols.

Advanced Topics in the Havening Techniques Workshop: Working with Developmental Trauma: Reparenting the Inner Child

Date: June 26th, 2020
Location: Live Virtual Workshop via Zoom
Time: Login begins at 7:45am, workshop starts promptly at 8:00am and finishes at 12:30pm Pacific
Cost: $159.00

Summary: What should’ve happened in childhood but didn’t? This is one of the most interesting questions to pose to an adult who has grown up in a world of developmental trauma. The developing brain often knows the stories of “what should’ve happened,” even while living with the traumatic consequences of the abuses survived. Survivors of developmental trauma witness the “what should’ve beens” in television shows, movies, books, and even in the lives of those they interact with. Knowing what “would have been” while often living with complex PTSD frequently worsen feelings of interpersonal disconnect and shame.

In this experiential seminar we will explore the opportunities of how neuroplasticity, when coupled with the Havening Techniques, can empower the brain to develop a new felt-sense of safety and security of the world - the positive benefits of a healthy childhood. Join Dr. Kate Truitt in this advanced topic workshop to dive deep into the intricacies of addressing “what should’ve happened“ to create the neural reality of a new way of being
